Sacroiliitis

Sacroiliac joint pain is one of THE most common complaints we deal with in our practice.

And they will NOT simply vanish on their own.

Sacroiliac joint dysfunction is a condition where the joints that connect the sacrum to the pelvis move too much (hypermobility) or too little (hypomobility).

Some causes of SI joint pain include pregnancy/childbirth, weak muscles in the pelvis or lower back, arthritis, injury, scoliosis, a difference between each leg’s length, or a previous lower back surgery.

It may be time to come see us if you are experiencing any of the following Sacroiliac Joint pain and symptoms:

  • Dull pain in low back
  • Pain that radiates into the buttocks and thigh
  • Pain across the SI joint
  • Pain at the end ranges of motion or with sitting
  • Poor stability in the lower back and pelvic region upon sitting/standing, or exercising
  • Hypermobility syndrome
